COVID-19 ASSOCIATED MUCORMYCOSIS PRESENTING AS GASTRIC ULCER
Abstract
Mucormycosis is a ubiquitous fungus that is present in the environment. It belongs to the class Zygomycetes of the order Mucorales. The first recorded human infection with Mucorales was a case of pulmonary mucormycosis which was reported by Sluyter in 1847.
